We are coming home!

During our trip, we traveled to Iceland, Austria, slept through Germany, visited the Netherlands, and the provinces of Holland and Friesland. We experienced four different languages: Icelandic, German, Dutch, and Frisian. We used the Icelandic Krone and Euros. Of all the countries, Iceland was the most expensive!
Breakfast and packing up to head home. A common breakfast in the Netherlands is meats, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, and breads.
The room we stayed in had 3 bunk beds and a small table. The shower and bathroom were in the hallway.
And we are off. The first stop is a small layover in Iceland. We were hoping to get food but had to go through Iceland customs.
Much clearer flying into Iceland today than 16 days ago!
A quick stop through customs and onto our next 6 hour flight back to Detroit.
Have you ever heard that you sleep better with your own pillow? This pillow traveled Europe with me! It wasn't my favorite, and I vowed that if I needed extra space for souvenirs, I would get rid of it. Fortunately, Kirk doesn't pack as much as I do and had extra room. The pillow made it back to Michigan!
Customs took forever to get through. Shannon had some sort of fast pass so was able to collect all of our luggage while we waited nearly an hour. No problems once we talked to the custom agents.
