Day 8- Saturday, June 7, 2025
For our last day in Austria, we went to Oscar's soccer game, then biked the Danube.
We took the train from Amstetten to Linz, and then the overnight train (nightjet) from Linz to Amsterdam.

On our way to Oscar's soccer game, we got held up by a bike race.
Oscar's soccer game. Soccer complexes are all over the place. We were really able to experience the soccer culture today!

After the soccer game, we rented bikes to bike some of the Danube River, which is the 2nd largest river in Europe. Yes, the skulls below are real! Eek!
Waiting for the train from Amstetten to Linz, then the night train from Linz to Amsterdam.
We accidently sat in first class. We are still learning the train system!
Time for bed. Leaving Austria, will sleep through Germany and wake up in The Netherlands/Amsterdam.
