Thursday, July 30-

-Tour Prague (Jo, Jenny, Shannon, Pat, and Sue)

- Tour Munich, Germany (Anna, Jessica, and Mary)

Updated: 7:30 am- Anna, Mary, and Jessica have arrived safely in Germany. They have made it through customs and all luggage arrived! They are off to a great start!

Staying in a "Youth Hostel" adds stories to 2 over 60 , 2 over 70 and one over 40. We had 3 bunk beds in the room. When we arrived one of the upper beds was occupied. Jo chose the bed under the unidentified roommate. The first night, he arrived long after we were in bed, some asleep, some awake. Jo thought that the bed was moving a lot and that he was settling in; thought that she heard a package opening but ignored it figuring she was dreaming. In the morning, we saw him for a minute and Jenny asked what his name was and he told her "Lucky". The second night, Lucky arrived in the morning at 5:30 and Jo heard him climb into bed once again. Same rocking and getting seettled, same package opening, more "settling" into the bed. At 6:00 everyone heard his alarm yelling "GET TO F*** UP", 5 minutes later GET TO F*** UP", everyone's really awake now, 5 minutes later, repeat, 5 minutes later, repeat. Jenny said "WILL YOU TURN THAT OFF!" and he turned it off. Jenny got up and went for a walk, Shannon got up and started her day. Sue, Pat and Jo tried to go back to sleep. Jenny returned from her 3 mile walk and our roommate was just getting up. She mentioned to him about the alarm and he said that he was leaving today anyway. The BIG surprise was when a very cute blond female climbed out of the bed and scurried out of the room. Jo said 'This explains everything!" and now we know why he calls himself "Lucky".

Shannon went out on her own today to visit as much of Prague as she could.

Jo and Jenny went on a find "Pokémon cards" mission!

Sue and Pat rested and enjoyed a morning of rest.

For lunch, Sue, Jo, Jenny, and Pat went to Sasy's for some pizza and salad. The ladies shared a Margherita pizza and a Caprese Di Bufala salad. Shannon was still out checking out the sites.

Meanwhile in Germany...Anna and Jessica are out exploring Munich while Mary is resting at the hotel! I am sure pictures are coming!

Sue, Shannon, Jo, and Jenny stopped for some ice cream at Mad Rabbit. It was very cool to go back to Alice in Wonderland.

This is a Stumbling Stone, they are small brass plaques installed into the sidewalk in front of the former homes and businesses of those who died in the Holocaust. This is an individual remeberance where the Stumpling Stone contains the victims name, birth year, their deportation camp, and their death year. "It is only in this way that someone can simply be walking through a normal street before they "stumble" upon it." These stone can be found over many European countries.
